I used 360 b4 and it kept draining battery and closed apps and my fone was very slow so I uninstalled it and used avg. My battery is great, it doesn't stop me playing games half way through. I recommend this to all my family as the adds aren't to bad and some are interesting. Keep up the good work of keeping my phone safe and updating constantly. The only problem I do have is I can't afford the full avg protection but I don't really need it.

Keep up the good work of keeping my phone safe and updating constantly. The only problem I do have is I can't afford the full avg protection but I don't really need it. It works for me. I have no problem with it. I really don't like this new update. I'd like to see the first AVG ANTIVIRUS from yrs to come back.

Ok avg what does the OS stand for? I'd like to know how to know if there are bugs within any apps? Do you get rid of them when you scan then being dealt with? It has been 2 years ever since I used this app already. After using 360 SECURITY for 2 years now I have decided to go back to using AVG mainly because it is A LOT lesser when comes to ads and performance.

360 SECURITY have a load of ads waiting in the background of the app, while this does not. Besides, it have the option to enable or disable the App Shield after installing or updating an application, unlike 360 SECURITY doesn't give any option to disable it at all. And one thing I like about it after 2 years is how simplistic this app looks!

The new material design sure is way more good looking than the old design, I like it, and it doesn't use that much RAM now. So this is how the new AVG looks like! Simple and fast! AVG completely fails. The antivirus continues to crash and not function.

I paid for this and have been ripped off. Driver So Pro 617 Drivers on this page. Uninstalled as Avg causes continous spin and then white flash, if not completely freezing device, occasionally flashes 'something went wrong' message please try again'. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all apps, cleared cache, data, etc. Horrible experience. I had set up AVG to allow access of certain apps to allow data/access/unlocked and AVG overrides with lock settings.

Thanks for your awful update. Three days in a row since the recent update, this app has used hours of cpu time each day for no reason whatsoever, which has significantly reduced my battery life.

First day, I figured it was a random thing. Force stopped it, rebooted phone, and didn't think anything of it. Second day, it did it again. Uninstalled and reinstalled, set it up to bare minimum settings, hoping it was a strange glitch. Today, there it was again, wasting hours of cpu time and draining the battery.

Maybe it is a new security feature - after all, if the phone itself is dead from a drained battery, no malicious stuff can run either.
